Catrion Neom laundry delivered, good for 130,000 kg/day

We are proud to share that we have completed our biggest project to date. Thank you Catrion for this fantastic project and team effort.

It started with a request to design a layout for a new laundry in the desert in Neom, Saudi Arabia. Due to rapid growth in hospitality, a large-scale and efficient laundry was needed.

All we had at the start were basic frameworks and building dimensions, in close coordination with the architect. From there, we took full ownership. Based on the required production capacity, we carried out an investigation, delivered a strategic masterplan and designed the complete lay-out from scratch. Even coordinated steam, gas and water supply.

With our layout and report, Catrion prepared a tender and had full flexibility to select machine suppliers. They chose a setup with Kannegiesser, Jensen and Foltex. Thanks to WSP’s brand-independent approach, all systems were seamlessly integrated into our software.

The laundry is now delivered and fully operational, ready to process up to 130,000 kg/322,000 pcs laundry and 37,000 garments per day.
