Teamwork on the road at WSP

Last week, our team stepped out of the daily routine and into a fleet of classic cars for a teambuilding experience around Waalwijk. Think iconic Beetles and Citroën 2CVs, combined with a challenge that put collaboration at the center.

Each car became a small project team. One driver, one navigator, and two sharp observers responsible for spotting and matching locations along the route. Success depended on more than just driving skills. We had to combine different navigation techniques, communicate clearly, and stay aligned under changing conditions. At every stop, roles rotated, giving everyone a new perspective and responsibility.

Along the way, we tackled additional challenges that tested coordination and speed. From practical tasks to playful competition, everything was designed to strengthen how we work together as one team.

The result? A day full of energy, focus, and shared achievement. Under a bright sun, every team made it to the finish, proving once again that strong collaboration is what drives results. Not just during a teambuilding day, but in every project we deliver.

We wrapped up the day with a well-earned BBQ and great conversations.
