1. What do we use for personal data for?

Your personal data are processed by WSP Systems BV primarily for the purposes of entering into and performing contracts you have with WSP Systems BV. They are also processed to enable us to comply with requirements imposed by laws and regulations. These agreements include in particular those with our employees, sole traders, suppliers, service providers and customers. To serve our customers in this way, the data of their own customers may also be processed by us. Where data is provided to third parties, it is provided as required by laws and regulations (such as to the Dutch tax authority regarding our employees) and to perform agreements for the acquisition, development and supply of goods and services, as well as to provide services and support.

2. Marketing activities

For the purposes of its marketing activities, WSP Systems BV keeps a record of the general details of the visits paid to its website. In this regard, the IP address of the visitor’s computer, the time of contact as well as data sent by the visitor’s browser are the particular data that are recorded . These data are used in the statistical analysis of visit and click patterns on the website. Wherever possible, data are anonymised.

In addition, customer details may be used to maintain our relationship with the customer. An example of this is our communication with customers about new products, services and the like.

3. Security and data storage; data leaks

WSP Systems BV protects the data entrusted to it with the help of technical and administrative security measures that minimise the risk of loss, misuse, unauthorised access, public disclosure and changes being made to the data. These measures include firewalls, the encryption of data and physical and administrative access controls to the data and servers. The period for which we keep a number of personal data complies with statutory provisions or depends on the relevance of these data to our business operations. WSP Systems BV is required to record data leaks and report them to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Dutch DPA)/involved parties, if there are grounds for doing so.

4. Your rights

If you have a business relationship with our organisation, you may inspect the personal data we hold about you. First of all, you need to make a written request to do so, which you do by sending an email to the email address shown below. If the overview we provide contains any factual errors, you can write to us requesting that we amend or delete the data, provided this does not hinder the performance of agreements that have been entered into with us. In addition, if you do not wish to be approached by us with information about our products and services, you can inform us of this in writing. You are entitled to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Dutch DPA).
